Bay Area Community Kitchen

The Bay Area Community Kitchen (BACK), an affiliate of the World Central Kitchen, responded to the COVID-19 crisis with the goal of creating long-term food security for the future by feeding the most vulnerable in our community, while supporting farmers and rescuing food, re-employing food service professionals and providing meaningful volunteer opportunities.

Foodmuse was engaged to create a procurement strategy, menu and recipe development, and design a culinary curriculum that was to be be part of the 2020 coursework for students of the San Francisco City College.
