Intercom

Over a multi-year partnership, Foodmuse developed a Food Program Strategy at Intercom, a Dublin based tech company that offers a powerful support solution that helps teams scale while providing an amazing customer experience. You may recognize their work from when a helpful chat box pops up asking if you need help while browsing the web. 

Intercom has a global workforce with offices in Dublin, London, Sydney, San Francisco, New York and Chicago. Food was offered in each office and had scaled organically with the growth of the company- there was no unified vision for what ‘Food at Intercom’ meant. We developed their Experiential and Program Design. We interviewed the entire workplace staff and achieved buy in from everyone on a new Mission and Vision for their Food Program. Using this as the touchstone, we created a suite of documents providing clarity and direction for the global operations team. 

In addition to programming work, we also consulted on numerous build outs of food spaces in their various offices. Leveraging our background in food space design we assisted Intercom in achieving functional spaces for a catered food program as well as employee break rooms. The spaces were designed with an emphasis on self service and sustainability.
